We have a new granola!
A wonderful blend of sumac and silan. Sumac has a pleasant tangy taste with a hint of citrus. It's like fresh squeezed lemon juice. Paired with silan (date syrup), it is the perfect balance of tangy and sweet. Also, silan is considered healthier than honey, containing more than twice the potassium, calcium, and magnesium and up to 10 times the antioxidants.
It is a perfect snacking granola. (It may be great with milk too, but it's so good I eat it all before I can get to the fridge to get the milk.)
